This class is intended to be combined with a treadmill or outdoor sprints + lower body strength. You do not need to do with a running component and can take this class as a 30 minute lower body challenge.
The strength portion is a can't miss class with unique rep rounds to keep your mind engaged. 3 x 10 minute blocks where you count your reps... hip thrusters, Bulgarian lunges/deadlifts, lateral lunges, cleans and steps etc. etc. Grab heavy weights and a plyo box.
The treadmill workout is 5 min sprint blocks that are repeated 4 times to total 20 minutes. You chose your sprint pace whether its speed running or walking.
5 min: warm up jog
5 min: Start at strong pace, increase .2-.5 every 30 secs to total 5 minutes
5 min: Alternating 30 sec jog and 30 sec sprints
5 min: INCLINE TIME. Start at 1.0 and jog or walk going up .1-.5 every 45-60 seconds
